Recently updated my táo macbook pro (13 inch, M1, 2020) to Monterey MacOS Version 12.1. Neither of my HP printers would work after that. Got Filter Failed. Reset the Printers & then reloaded them both. Now the HP LaserJet Pro 200 màu sắc MFP M276 works but my older HP Laserjet 1200 series does not. Still has filter failed. HP says it no longer supports the LaserJet 1200 series. No driver updates. Did táo bị cắn dở drop tư vấn for that printer? It is at least 16 years old, but a favorite.

HP wants me khổng lồ use HP Smart, not HP Easy. It does not find my LaserJet 1200 Series printer. It does find the more new HP printer I have on the network. HP Smart cannot find the older LaserJet 1200. So I am really badly stuck here. If that printer is connected with USB ONLY?
Do you have the HP jet direct 175x option installed, making that a network-accessible printer?
For the USB-only model, HP may no decided not to lớn update the driver, so is effectively longer be supporting it.

Printer was purchased in January 2003, so it is 19 years old. It may have had its run. She did her job. But it still works great. Sorry lớn see her go. Will find a good home for her. MacOS Monterey 12.1 nuked my other HP Printer, but when I deleted & re-installed it works just fine.

Is the LaserJet 1200 printer shown as a mặc định printer on the Add-A-Printer page?
If it IS, you may be able to add it và use the "Generic Postscript" driver.
